  1. Hi there!

I hope this message finds you well. I just wanted to reach out and share some personal experiences with you. You know how great sharing personal stuff can be?

Your episode on processing really hit home for me. I’m grateful to hear someone in the dance community talking about our mental health, and the weird human stuff we’re experiencing right now. I originally just wanted to share this strange video of me bursting into tears in the midst of an improv session. (That’s attached.) But I also wanted to let you know I included this episode of your podcast in a movement healing journey I put together for dancers in quarantine. It’s a 30 day journey where dancers receive a daily email with journal and movement prompts, as well as related youtube links, affirmations, and podcasts. I attached the website for that too if you want to check it out.

Thanks for talking about real human things. You’re pretty awesome.

    With Love,

  2. Barbara Parren Hi Dana, I just listened to your podcast episode #22. I have a question about
putting your 8(8) cts on youtube . Do you only use your counts, and it is up to them to get it with the music? I have done that and always get something about copyrights.
I also would like to tell you that I LOVE your podcasts! I have been a fan of yours for a long time. I own a small studio in NJ for forever. should be ready to retire, but what would I do? lol . I enjoy listening so please don’t stop!

    1. Barbara! Thank you for this note, and you’re GREAT question. I always include a few passes with music, and because my videos are marked unlisted, and my channel is not monetized, I have only ONCE experienced an issue with blockage due to copyrights. In that instance, I used a password protected vimeo link instead! I hope this is helpful!
